Every step of the journey was explained in detail. I had my attic serviced with blown in insulation on the same day as the basement was spray-foamed.
Both teams arrived together and on time. Nick, Tommy and Luke W handled the attic insulation. Their prep work was thorough and the execution was spectacular. The end result was even better than I had hoped for. As pleased as I was with the attic result, I was even more impressed with the basement. This is the second time we have used Greenfoot for one of our energy solutions. This time round we needed an insulation top up in the attic. Greenfoot sent over Tim and Luke to get this job done. They arrived on time and were great to deal with. They made sure to cover up all the areas of the house that they would be passing through to make sure that there was no dirt dragged in and also no dust that settled on the furniture due to the work. They completed the job pretty quickly and made sure they cleaned up whatever little dust had escaped the covered areas. Given the number of homeowner horror stories floating around about bargain basement spray foam companies, I decided to go with Greenfoot Energy for insulating the foundation and headers in my basement. Their estimator used a laser measuring device to quote the job and the proposal was clear and specific about depths of insulation and fireproofing options. Once I accepted the proposal, the scheduler worked with me to find a date that worked for our family to be out of the house for 24 hours. The installation team was friendly and respectful with a great attention to detail. Their prep work was thorough and really helped to boost my confidence that the job would be done right. The whole site was left clean and ready to hang drywall. The install team were pros and even texted me at the end of the job to let me know that he had checked every bay to ensure they sprayed the right amount of foam in each bay.
I'm definitely glad I went with Greenfoot. They weren't the cheapest quote I received, but the quality of the job exceeded my expectations. Recommended.
